Orders Terms and Conditions

1. Your initial deposit of 20% reserves your event date and is non-refundable. Without this deposit your date can be offered to another customer.
2. We must receive the balance by the due date indicated or contract is null and void, and deposit will not be refunded. Due date of final payment is 2 weeks prior to your event date.
3. The date of your final payment is the final date for any changes of size, style or flavours of the cake and/or cookies. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
4. Delivery and setup is dependant on the location of the venue and will be stipulated in the final price.
5. Postage is available for cookies, tea towels and edible prints only. Postage will be via Australia Post. All products will be carefully and securely packed but we cannot be responsible for the products once they have been shipped nor can we be responsible for the arrival time.
6. We are not responsible for any damage to the cake and/or cookies after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 23 degrees Celsius or below.
7. If flowers are provided by an outside source, we will place them for an additional fee. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants and therefore we cannot be held liable for any health complications that may arise.
8. If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake and/or cookies, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves our possession. You will be given a Storage and Care Instructions leaflet to explain how to care for the cake.
9. On occasion we will photograph our cakes and cookies and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
10. Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions. If you request an allergen free product these terms and conditions apply as well as all products are baked and prepared in the one kitchen.
11. We reserve the right to make any last minute decisions on designs when the customer is unable to be contacted. This will only be if outside factors come into play such as change of weather that may affect a certain design element of the cake and/or cookies.
12. Performance of this agreement is contingent upon our ability to complete the Agreement and is subject to labour disputes or strikes, accidents, and other causes beyond our control.
13. Unexpected circumstances outside of our control: If a situation arises that is outside both yours and our control i.e a natural disaster or health emergency, there are two options. You can opt for a full refund minus any tools, products or ingredients that have already been purchased or decorations made, or you can receive a credit for the full amount that can be used at a later date agreed to by both yourself and us.

14. Gift Cards are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase. They can be used to purchase physical items i.e. cookies, cupcakes and tea towels as well as digital downloads. There is no refund on gift cards.

15. Our organic cotton tea towels are designed by us and printed by a supplier. We do not take responsibility for the quality of the products once washed but we will endeavour to rectify any problems with the supplier on your behalf should they arise.
